Covid screening in Iran

Screening means identifying diseases before irreversible damage occurs, which aims to identify people at risk. Screening programs promote public health in the disease prevention process. One of the most basic and scientific methods of dealing with infectious diseases is to perform extensive screenings at specific intervals. These screening programs are critical and vital in controlling and managing infections (especially infectious and contagious diseases).

Danesh Parsian Company, considering the background and expertise and of course the numerous experiences it has had over the years with the launch of medical and health systems and programs, together with the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Education, designed and implemented various measures and has done several in this field. One of the essential actions of this company has been to perform four stages of screening at the national level.

The Covid screening process was proposed, implemented, and implemented in the first days of March 2017 by Danesh Parsian Company.
This process considered two groups of audiences:

1. First screening:

-Referral ratio to selected hospitals;

-Drug treatment regimen in outpatients;

-The ratio of people without problems to screening;

-Percentage of calls made to the system in the last three days;

-Active follow-up of patients' health (immediate follow-up);

-Active follow-up of patients' system (follow-up);

-Vulnerability map;

-Health site follow-up cases;

-Number of Covid services (selected centers of Covid-19);

-Diagnosis and treatment in centers separately;

-Diagnosis and treatment of non-medical separately;

-Number of Covid sieves (total or by date);

-Status of national mobilization volunteer teams separately (number and form);

-Number of mothers screened (total, symptomatic, referred to hospital, or referred to physician);

As necessary, the reports were implemented on the map of Iran online with a standard color scheme. This map is used to predict and follow the situation of cities, apply transportation and travel restrictions, and so on.

2. Second screening:

After a timely and satisfactory screening of the first type, the activation of the second type of screening began with the order of the National Covid Headquarters and the cooperation of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education. In the second type of screening management dashboard, the information of more than 41 million people has been recorded and reviewed.

3. Third screening:

The third screening was performed the same way as the first and second rounds to manage the Covid further. Due to the completion of the Seroepidemiological survey and other measures, other important reports have been added at this stage:

Seroepidemiological survey report;
Covid vaccine report.

4. Fourth screening:

The fourth screening was performed at the same time as the first consignments of the Covid-19 vaccine. In the Covid screening system, besides previous reports, a report of Covid-19 vaccination (by vaccine name, the national number of servants and clients, etc.) and reporting of Covid tests are also recorded and submitted.
